When an injured player is unable to attempt foul shots who determines who will take those attempts in his place? I await your response and will provide further information thereafter.

Coach can choose the person who will shoot the free throws. And if it is a two or three shot foul, multiple shooters can be used to shoot the FT's.

In a game last night, the lead official had the opposing coach pick who would shoot the foul shots!!!! Never ever never heard that in High school ball.

That's not entirely true.

The coach chooses from any eligible substitutes on his bench. That player must shoot all of the awarded FTs.

The only time different players can shoot FTs from one foul is for a technical foul. Two different shooters can each shoot a FT.
