Jalen Hurts- benched in college, didn’t transfer, came back the next year in the SEC Title after sitting behind Tua all year to get the Tide to the CFB Playoff. Could go on and on, but HUMILITY is the name of the game. Kids could learn A LOT from Hurts.

LAST but not least

Mekhi Becton- EAST END baby! Most said he was done.. All it takes most of the time is the right people to come in your life and the right culture and that’s what he got in Philly. Congrats Springer fans, you guys have a lot to be proud of!

Got to be honest, I was pulling for the Chiefs... as a Commanders fan it is against my religion to root for anyone from the NFC East, lol! That said it was great to see Mekhi win last night. It just goes to show like you said... right culture. I think in professional football (NFL) so many have the talent but unless you are in the right setting that talent never reaches the full potential. Looks at Sam Darnold this year... yeah it didn't end like you would hope but with talent around him and a good coach, you did see what he could be. Imagine if Mahomes has gone to Chicago or Tom Brady was drafted by the Jets. You think they would be in the conversation as GOAT's?
