Sussex central vs Lancaster

Lancaster and Northumberland both have to travel (which I think is BS) for these huge games.

Non football point system does not take into account strength of schedule just what Class they are.

So if you play a crappy 2A school you get more points than a strong 1A team and so on.

Oh well, I think I saw where Sussex whipped Surry this season so that info is somewhat enlightening.

I just hope they have decent refs down there.

1. I have a feeling the refs are only good if they are in favor of your team
2. Franklin and Surry have delt with Park View , Greenville, and Brunswick ( not crappy 2a teams) the last 6 years which has caused them to travel in years they shouldn’t.
3. If all you play is crappy 1a schools....
4. Lancaster and Northumberland are lower seeds so they travel... Surry traveled in 2014 and 2015 when it was clear they were the best team.... it worked out for them just fine

Interesting lopsided score over a 5 seed.

Well done Lancaster.
Lancaster sub so much throughout the game keeping fresh legs in I didn’t really see Sussex sub like that it was a great team effort by the red devils

Fair post.

1) lol - I am quite aware when either team (including my own) gets calls that go their way or not. I often point out when I feel one team appears to receive more than their fair share of favorable calls. One of the NHS wins over Rapp this season, I posted Rapp got a raw deal on many calls which really hurry their chances to win.

I don't want favorable refs, I just want a fairly called game as best as they can (which is what most refs try to do). Refs at NHS game last night were great overall and kept awesome control of an exciting game between heated rivals.

2) No problem with what you said there. My point was sometimes you get the wrong seed at the top - a recent example, was it baseball or softball last year where Windsor was the number 1 seed, then got destroyed in the regions by a low seed.

3) I can assure you that the NND produces many of the best 1A teams in almost all sports. NND teams also play many upper level teams if possible, depending on locations.

4) Point system worked pretty good this year - Top 4 teams won and appear to be the best - have no problem with Tri-Rivers - I'm sure that the games will be fine. I have no issue with away games. Good point on Surry from 2014.
