Does anybody know the points rating of teams in Class 2 Region D- 1.Gate City, 2 Graham??

There is no regional rating system for Region 2D basketball, only a rating system within each of the two districts for their seeding into the regionals. The top-finishing team in the Mountain 7 gets the automatic and #1 seed for the M7 into the regionals.
Brackets will look like this:

SW-1 vs. M7-4
M7-2 vs. SW-3

M7- 1 vs. SW-4
SW-2 vs. M7-3

If it was like the football system, you'd likely see at least five M7 teams and three SWD teams, maybe six and two. But it's top four from each in a cross bracket. Basically, everyone is just trying to avoid GC. Any other team in Region D could finish second and advance to the big show. Wise Central would be considered the favorite preseason but they haven't lived up to their expectations. Wise may not even finish second in M7, a big conference game tomorrow with Union at Wise.
