I saw the VHSL all state awards. I didn't know the Coaches all state was out. Do you know if Leeanna Mcnulty from Honaker made the first team ?
She was VHSL first team so I assume she might have made the Coaches as well. Who was taken off of the VHSL that allowed the girl you mentioned to make the Coaches all state or were there many other changes ?
Who was the Coaches Player of the year ? Last year it was different from the VHSL. The Boyd Kid from Appomattox was the VHSL player of the year and Mohler from PM was player of the year for the VHSCA. I've never watched Boyd play but heard she was amazing. I watch Mohler several times over the past couple of years maybe 4 times . She's as good as it gets. I found out she was injured a couple nights before playing us in the semis this year. You wouldn't have known it by watching her play. I'd say Honaker would've won the game without Mohler this year. I've heard Boyd has signed to play in the ACC ? That's impressive it wouldn't be surprising to see her as player of the year. I'll leave this year with this. I think Leanna Mcnulty will lead the tigers to a state title and earn herself player of the year honors next year. I realize some good teams are there but Leanna is a rare talent. I believe she will improve her game during the offseason.
Congratulations to all the young girls and your families. 1A girls basketball is alive and well.
I saw Boyd play in person and on tape and she's as talented as anyone I've ever watched . I think she will need to give more effort and get in better shape to be a dominant ACC player. But she has all the tools
I think Mohler playing injured and putting it all on the line for herself and teammates was amazing and I thought she played very well against Honaker
But I disagree with you about Honaker winning if Mohler didn't play. This Group of Seniors for PM was a rare group that hardly ever comes along. They are the only group in history to have accomplished what they did in the timesland area. I feel like they would have found a way to pull off the win no matter what. Maybe not
But I'd never doubt these group of studs
I'm extremely proud that Peyton was able to play though and play well which allowed her to go out on top with herself and her teammates. The Blues family will miss this group dearly.
Lastly I think Honaker is very solid but your gonna have your hands full with GW next year. Your gonna need a guard to step up in the offseason if you want the ultimate prize.
I'd say this is one of the last times ole Blue Blue Blue will post for a few years so in saying that
To all the people over the past few years that doubted these girls
Kiss our asses 3 times in a row.
GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!
