Having not seen any of the east teams play I cannot comment on them. As far as the west goes in the consolation game I'll have to take Gate City over Chatham. As someone else said Chatham is undersized but scrappy and quick, after seeing GC vs DR even if McClung doesn't hit 50 I don't think Chatham will stay in this one. Foul trouble and a lack of depth really hurt them late in the game against Richlands. Not sure how they got by Glenvar to arrive as one of the teams still left playing for a state championship but congrats on getting this far. Onto the finals I just don't see Richlands staying in this one in the second half. DR was impressive in the win over GC last night, despite McClung scoring in every way possible except for a dunk, the boys from DR never panicked or got rattled. I think they had 5 in dbl figures and outrebounded GC on both ends of the floor. Gotta play til the end buzzer and they did. Congrats to the Blue Tornadoes in making it to the western finals, don't see you taking the #1 seed in the west from the wildcats though, I'll take DR by 20 in this one. Honorable mention to Martinsville and Glenvar. Had Glenvar not knocked off Martinsville in the conference final I think the Dawgs would still be playing, but I will say and I know of 1 Martinsville parent/fan who will agree with me, Adkins is no Husky Hall and running your starters into the ground will cost you games (I know of one other coach with the same mentality or lack of coaching sense if you will, wish he would retire and get the h#!! out) the other coach not Adkins. After seeing Glenvar handle themselves against the Dawgs I figured they would still be playing but a cold night shooting will cost you at this time of the year, with losing only one starter I'm sure they will be back next year. I see 2 one sided games in Springwood on Saturday, If I'm wrong I will gladly apologize to whomever is deserving of it..

I honestly think Gate City will beat the loser of Madison and RE Lee (I think that will be Madison) then have a second chance at Dan River, and win this one, setting up a Gate City vs RE Lee championship. Just my prediction.
I will definitely be seeing the rematch if GC and DR play again. I think it would be another good one. Hopefully GC will get everyone involved tomorrow and get back on track.
Not to take anything away from Chatham - but they definitely benefited from Glenvar's upset of Martinsville.
She really does have a beautiful voice, She'll b there all weekend, she's been doing it for years only place I hear her sound better is in church singing gospel hymns. We actually graduated together many years ago.
