Last year, I posted a hypothetical state tournament where every team got a bid, the teams were ranked top to bottom, and it was single-elimination.
I decided to create another bracket this season, for those of you who enjoyed the "fantasy" playoff.
Round of 64 and 32 would be played on a Wednesday/Saturday at the high seed.
Sweet 16 and Elite 8 would be played at a super-site based on who is remaining at that point in time. Final 4 would be played in Charlottesville.
I tried to make it as travel friendly as possible...while staying true to the rankings. Not always easy - I gave the higher seeds priority - there are a few long hauls, but hey, that's part of the journey to JOHN PAUL JONES!
Yes, I used MaxPreps. Yes, it's not the most accurate. However, it's the best we have. Let's not even get into that debate.

First Round Winners are in BOLD from Wednesday's games. Winners will go to the high seed in the next round on Saturday.
