It was 15 all in the 3rd quarter. Should be an interesting matchup with them and PoquosonGame was to close for comfort. That Glen Allen loss really shook TJ. Hopefully this win can get them back in the right direction.
The same Glen Allen team that TJ had by 7 with 15 seconds left and got a penalty on the kickoff for a fan running on the sideline when they scored to go up? Or the same game where the ref missed a fumble in OT that was so blatant it was the talk of Twitter that weekend or the same Glen Allen (#7 Seed) that just went over and beat a (#2 seed) Midlothian team tonight in the first round? SMH, TJ lost three games to higher-classified schools, all of which were playoff teams. Also, TJ could have scored two more touchdowns at the end of this game tonight but kicked an FG then ran the ball with the JV and took a knee. Respectfully, you shouldn't look at scores and try to gauge a team by scores. I didn't say that when KW had a problem with Caroline. Let's, let the boys play it out. Finally, never forget NO OTHER 2A SCHOOL IN THE STATE PLAYS MORE 5A TEAMS THEN TJ. So win or lose they are getting valuable reps that will only help them in the playoffs.Game was to close for comfort. That Glen Allen loss really shook TJ. You okay? I was just stating a fact, that Glen Allen loss shook TJ. I don’t think I was disrespecting them or mocking their opponents. They dropped their last 3 games, then it’s 15-15 with Amelia late in the game. It was a little surprising since they put up 50+ earlier this season on them. Hopefully they’ve found their groove again, I’d love to see another TJ vs KW region championship. The same Glen Allen team that TJ had by 7 with 15 seconds left and got a penalty on the kickoff for a fan running on the sideline when they scored to go up? The 5A schools they play are 16-36 on the year. The same Glen Allen team that TJ had by 7 with 15 seconds left and got a penalty on the kickoff for a fan running on the sideline when they scored to go up? LOL.......Lower classification teams beat higher ones all the time. It's usually a testament to how good a team is. But it is a fact after the Glen Allen loss Thomas Jefferson spent the weekend complaining instead of regrouping and they haven't looked the same since. Hopefully they've turned the corner, but it what it is, no need to come on here and act like we can't analyze what we see. Those guys started 7-0 and maybe started reading the press clipping too much instead of staying focused.
Sooooooooo what does that mean exactly? The last three teams they lost to were 5A Playoff team who just beat the #2 seed, a 4A playoff team, and another 5A playoff team. Don't get your point they beat the two 5A teams they played that had losing records. Are you saying class sizes don't make a difference? These schools have more kids on their JV then TJ has on its roster...lol come on dude. The 5A schools they play are 16-36 on the year.
Im absolutely great! Thanks for asking. Yet, you're not stating a fact friend. Please read what I have posted in response to the other gentleman. I would never state a "fact" on any team based on perception, that's all. That was a very good game last night and Im proud of how those young men responded and the fight amelia came out with. Also, quick fact in the first meeting Amelia dint have its best two players RB/LB #5 due to injury and they both played (Until their LB/RB tore his knee up early 4th qt..pray for that kid) And they also made a switch at QB which was a good move for their team. You okay? I just think it was good context given the point was made that “NO OTHER 2A SCHOOL IN THE STATE PLAYS MORE 5A TEAMS THEN TJ.” Class size absolutely makes a difference, but just because it’s a bigger school doesn’t always mean it’s always a quality opponent. They played two 1-9 5A teams and a 2-8. The point I’m making is they get better playing better teams regardless of classification. Glen Allen and Colonial Heights are good examples.Sooooooooo what does that mean exactly?
