I know the poll is silly, and it has no bearing on anything, and there probably is not yet much of an argument against it, but seeing LB ranked above Salem in football just makes me grind my teeth.
I think they have PH way overrated at number four. Staunton River likewise at number five, but maybe not quite so overrated as PH. But then, I thought they had them both overrated in the preseason poll. I also thought it interesting that JF dropped from ninth all the way out, despite winning. I don't see the logic in vaulting both 1A George Wythe and 2A Giles from unranked to ranked ahead of JF.
Fodder for Internet discussion, anyway.
