Trinity Episcopal was never threatened in their 81-45 blowout win over Prince George at the Coaches For the Cure Classic at John Marshall High School.

The Titans led 22-8 after the 1st quarter with junior Jason Wade and sophomore Armando Bacot combining for 12 points. Matt Nelson drained three triples from the corner baseline to give Trinity Episcopal a 35-13 lead just before halftime.

A 9-2 run to start the 3rd quarter pushed the deficit to 52-22. Thankfully, the fourth quarter was played with a mercy rule running clock.

My game MVP went to Jason Wade who scored 21 points while grabbing nine rebounds with four steals and five assists. He set the tone with his athleticism. Bacot, who sports multiple D-1 offers, finished with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocks. James Madison commit Zachery Jacobs added 12 points and eight rebounds while Nelson made three treys to finish with nine.

Prince George was led by senior Malik Nash who made three 3-points to finish with nine points. Wing Su'Wayne Turner added eight points while junior Christian Chappell (6-foot-10) had eight points and eight rebounds.
