To All the Players playing this weekend

Treasure this moment as for some it will be the last time you put the pads on. All you young me are winners in my book you all have represented your schools with pride and hard play. To be in the final four is a great accomplishment. Go out there and give it your all and hold nothing back as you only get a few chances to have this chance to play for a state title in high school. Win or lose hold your heads high after all it is just a game. As my coach told us before the state semi game against surry county back in 1998. He said before the game "Guys as long as you play for each other and give me 110% that is all we as coaches can ask of you " Some days the bounces go your way somedays not. But i gurantee you the lessons you have learned from high school sports will help you in life because you will get knocked down. it is not about how many times you get knocked down it is about how you get up and respond to difficult times in life. Enjoy this weekend and most importantly HAVE FUN.
