What are the criteria for this? How do you define "most popular" when you are talking about high schools, especially since any voter would choose their own favorite school?

This is just click bait for the website. If all the Richlands fans or Riverheads fans or Gate City fans decided to inundate the website, the results would be a bit different...

I think every body on VAPREPS should go on a concerted effort to get a really small school on the “list”.

It's based on how many times those schools are searched for on maxpreps

Hence, the larger the school the more searches. I think I’ll start searching for Rapp. County a LOT and see if they can get on the useless list.
