Shegog
(pictured-left) and Kizer are in the six-three to six-four range and were
recruited by most elite college programs across the country.
In June, both were selected to be a part of the thirty-six player,
3-team, 2007 USA Youth Development Festival which was held at the U.S. Olympic
Training Center, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Although
outstanding high school performers, both made their mark playing nationally for
two of top girls basketball programs in the nation, in Fairfax Stars and Boo
Williams respectfully.
Shegog
will attend
the University of North Carolina in the 2008-2009 school year and play for the
Tar Hills. She is known as a
finesse player with excellent post moves around the basket.
She has a consistent shot from about 15 feet.
Kizer
(pictured-right will attend the University of
Maryland
and play for the Terrapins. She
has an imposing presence in the paint; but is very nimble for a player of her
size. Her spin move is her
trademark move in the paint.
