I understand what you're saying about the schedule and not facing adversity. However, this is the same team from last year, but they're bigger, quicker, smarter and they know what is like to be down and even lose. Last year they were 7-3 in the regular season and several games they came back to win in the second half. Take last years state semi-final game against Galax for instance, going into the half they were down and came back and won. They are pretty calm and collected and pressure doesn't seem to bother them. We heard how that 2A Marion was going to challenge us 33-6, George Wythe will challenge us, 39-0 and 2A Virginia High was going take care of business 37-7. The only way to compare Grayson County and Chilhowie, which is not idea is through mutual teams played. GC vs RR 18-0 / Chil vs RR 50-0, GC vs Marion 27-12 / Chil vs Marion 33-6, GC vs GW 36-28 Chil vs GW 39-0. Chilhowie's starters on offense and defense come out at the half or early in the the third quarter. I've seen Galax play a couple of times and barring any injuries, I don't think Galax will be a threat to Chilhowie this year. I've tried to be humble most of the season and tell myself Chilhowie is not as good as I think they are, but they really are that good of a team. They are legit. I think you'll get to give your coworker some grief.
