Upset in the making?

No, but the broadcast team gets quieter at times. Doesn’t seem to be a signal or streaming issue. Not trying to be too critical because they are doing a great job.

upset in the making for most folks would be the Neck's W&L at the 8th seed whipping #1 Franklin in the Armory 22-7 at the half.

I tried kindly to let people know for weeks, Franklin was not as good as the top Neck teams.

The ship has been righted. This game could be the spark that ignites the fire. Dangerous team and the bracket is looking to favor them if Franklin doesn’t pull a huge comeback.

Essex rolled in the 2nd half as they should have - Northumberland and West Point rolled Northampton (were 8-2).

The weather played havoc tonight for the three games.

As long as Northumberland can defeat CB tomorrow on a sloppy field, I'd say NHS won big tonight with gaining home field through out regions now as long as the Indians can survive.

Essex coach Todd Jones gave a great interview on the radio. Well done.

Question was - Has Essex ever lost a playoff game at home since around 2000 or right before? I cannot remember one - maybe KW a long time ago...

Just in case Essex plays a rematch v NHS, I am glad it would be an away game for the Trojans....long way to go though.

Northampton was pretty solid in the 1st half. In a 24min half, Time of possession went to Northampton. Essex only had the ball for maybe less than 1 1/2 minutes in the 1st half BUT scored 3 TDs on only 4 total plays. Now...one thing I noticed was that Essex had on the jerseys they had made for homecoming that had their names on the back. The thing about the jerseys that stood out to me was that they are Gray with Purple trim. For me, it was sometimes hard to figure out who was who being that Northampton had on white and was starting to get muddy. The 2 teams started to look like they all were one. Anyway, Essex came back to start the 2nd half in their Purple jerseys. The D played much better after adjustments and jersey change. Not sure if those gray jerseys of Essex and slightly muddy jerseys of Northampton were causing problems with both teams knowing who was who when everyone all piled together as Northampton and Essex ran their versions of the wing. Both teams had problems stopping the other’s offenses in that 1st half. Northampton went on long td drive and as i said before, Essex score 3tds on only 4 plays. Once Essex put on the purple jerseys to start the 2nd half, Northampton drives got shorter and their scoring stopped, and Essex stopped scoring on the 1st or 2nd play of their possession, to putting together a little longer drives for TDs.
