Thanks pizzzzza, Mike and others for posting updates on this one since I was unable to while on the air for the NFHS Network of the Class 6 title game.

Congrats to Doug Smith and the Appomattox Raiders on capturing their 4th state title in 5 years. Lot of neat stories from this group we look forward to documenting in the days and weeks to come - including RB Cristian Ferguson, sophomore QB Tre Lawing (star in the making) and others.
