VHSL hypocrisy?…

Following the recruiting/transfer “scandal” at Hayfield High (Fairfax Co) and their football team over on the 6A Fall forum…

The VHSL is apparently taking action over recruiting/transfers at Hayfield!?!

How can this be so when they care not about recruiting/transfers by/at John Marshall basketball? Is it okay for 2A basketball but not 6A football? Is it because Adidas or some other company hasn’t signed on yet? Hayfield need to hire a Pop Warner coach or something similar to a Team Loaded coach?

To paraphrase Val Kilmer in Tombstone, their hypocrisy knows no bounds.

You need to provide a lot more information. I'm pretty well familiar with the John Marshall situation, can you tell us more about 1) the Hayfield issue and 2) what the action the VHSL is taking?

Trouble at Hayfield

So what’s the big fuss still about — the season is about to start in approximately one week. They have had a team established and been practicing/scrimmaging already so I’m pretty sure the roster is set for the season, if the rules have been bent I’m sure they have dotted every I and crossed...
