Week 11 is the final week of our regular season, so there has been a lot more clarity in everyone's playoff situation. The VISAA provides the possible playoff scenarios.
DIVISION III
Fredericksburg Christian had already locked up the #1 seed last week with their win over Sidwell Friends. Atlantic Shores locked up the #2 seed this week; the minimum one bonus point they will get from losing to Bishop Sullivan is just enough to put them out of reach of Christchurch and the others.
Christchurch has clinched a playoff spot, but they could be #3 or #4. Of the other three contenders (North Cross, Covenant, and Greenbrier), only North Cross could get ahead of Christchurch's minimum rating.
Christchurch can clinch the #3 seed IF:
1a.) Christchurch DEFEATS Virginia Episcopal OR
1b.) Hargrave DEFEATS OR TIES North Cross
North Cross can lock up a playoff spot just by beating Hargrave this week.
North Cross can clinch the #3 seed IF:
1.) North Cross DEFEATS Hargrave AND
2.) Virginia Episcopal DEFEATS OR TIES Christchurch
Covenant and Greenbrier can only get into the playoffs by winning and getting help from the teams ahead of them, especially North Cross.
Greenbrier Christian makes the playoffs as the #4 seed IF:
1.) Greenbrier Christian DEFEATS Chincoteague AND
2.) Hargrave Military DEFEATS OR TIES North Cross AND
3.) Fishburne Military DEFEATS OR TIES Covenant
Covenant makes the playoffs as the #4 seed IF:
1.) Covenant DEFEATS Fishburne Military AND
2.) Hargrave Military DEFEATS OR TIES North Cross
Even with unlikely help from defeated opponents like Massanutten and Randolph-Macon, the best Covenant could do is tie Christchurch at 6.60, a tie which would be broken by Christchurch's win over Covenant in Week 8. Greenbrier cannot catch Christchurch in any scenario.
