I just did those in hunt for playoff spots.

I think I know why we are so off with Page County (as of last week, VHSL Official Ratings gave Petersburg a 0-2 record even though at that point they were 2-5, and won this week.

Buckingham is certainly because I just did Win or Lose tomorrow.

We match Luray (no SD game) and East Rockingham, but different on rest. So I will have to double check mine now.

Stuarts Draft: Total points you have 2 more than me (again the no Luray game, which I am told will be answered VERY soon). 177 vs. 179

Central: 2 more points total than me 190 vs. 192

Clarke County: 2 more points than me. 213 vs. 215

Strasburg: 2 more points than me. 188 vs. 190

Madison County: 1 point less than me. 136 vs. 135

Page County: if I add those 6 points I see missing (that VHSL didn't count), 2 more points than me, 140 vs. 142. Going off VHSL, I have 134.

Buckingham: if I go right this second, we have the same.

And just to keep up with the Top 2 in Region A for Semifinals, I have.

Nottoway: you have 4 more points than me. 212 vs. 216

King William: currently I have 189 points, and you have 187

How are you predicting C to shake out as?

Anybody know if the Floyd/ Allegheny game was postponed because of rain or other issues? Is it scheduled to be played Monday or was it played Saturday and no score been reported?

Top 3 pretty set I think. If Martinsville beats Patrick that will about lock them in at 4 and a home field game. Pretty sure Floyd and James River will 5 and 6 in either order. 7 and 8 will be what's left to settle. Right now Gretna and DR are sitting best to get them but Patrick and Chatham have a shot. Gretna Chatham game will decide a lot. If Patrick can knock off Martinsville they will have chance of getting in. Gretna wins one of Chatham and Nelson should get them in. They could win both by 50 but could lose both by 50, who knows. DR beats William Campbell they in but a loss they could be out depending on what other 3 do. Now I think y'all will see Gretna in first round at 7 but could be Chatham or Dan River. Another big game will be Radford and James River. I don't know if a loss would change Radford much. Possibly lose 3 to Martinsville. That might put James River in 5 but don't think they can jump Radford or Martinsville. I am just ticked on how bad the PCS teams that can be traced right back to school board. Needless to say we going to be celebrating after election next week when we send them all packing. The one that represents our district has gotten his ear full when he tried to attend one game. Was talking with parent that has freshman starting on varsity. He hasn't been allowed to practice or play since 2019 in little league. No JV practice or games in 2020 nor this past spring. We graduated about that whole team in 2019. Have one kid left that played on that team. Nobody was allowed to practice since 2019. Then had two weeks of practice in spring before playing them four county games. Then graduated four out of five we had left that had played any varsity. No JV or little league was allowed to practice or play until three months ago. We have six starters that before August haven't played or practiced since 2019 when they were in little league. Conversation started because the game looked as if players had never played the game. 25 penalties on Tunstall and 15 on Gretna for a combine almost 350 yards in penalties to add with 8 turnovers by both teams Gretna having six. The parent put things in perspective with the county teams. They look like they have never played because they haven't for two years. The freshman last time they put pads on was in little league and then gets first start on high school field against EC Glass. Talk about going straight into the fire. You can really see this when you watch any of our county teams play. Chatham only one to have alot of seniors that played some in 2019. Gretna and Dan River being the youngest now. I just pray these kids can get a full off season finally and get back what the school board stile from them and their futures. That's what you get when you keep 80 year old men on a school board that haven't had a child in school system in four decades. I think you should have kids in school system to sit on school board. What make big difference, especially like what we have seen out of Loudon County. Bet if you had daughter in that school system and say on school board things would have went down a whole lot different. Most the ones we have haven't had kids in decades and frankly could give a crap about our children in school now.

You hit the nail on the head! Too many politicians wrap themselves around the flag, country, family, and church around election time and out doing dirty deeds and stupid crap all the other time.

They moved it to Mon. @ 6 around 10 am Fri - no reason given.
BUT... no one near Floyd switched dates due to weather.

I'd kinda thought Pat@Mart on Mon. was due to it being race weekend

Race never bothers football games down here. GW-Danville @ Magna Vista was played Friday and Magna Vista is just as close to the speedway as Martinsville high school.

Wrong assumption OF2.Hawks have to play mistake free football to beat Chatham. I have attended every Gretna game. Hawks have some good young playmakers but their inexperience shows up at critical times as seen against DR and Tunstall....2 teams they should have beaten. Had Tunstall 14-0 early and should have blew them out but penalties and turnovers were very costly.

Hawknation summed it up. Nothing makes up for lack of practice and game experience. Go Hawks!

Checked roster for Tunstal and they listed that good running back as a freshman. Does anybody know if that is correct? If it is ,then Tunstal really has something to build on for the future.........

Whoever comes out of D this year will be battle tested. Of course, I am pulling for Graham. Central has been playing great, as of late.

Whichever team wins Region D will definitely be battle tested, it’s a gauntlet for sure this year. I believe Central is the best bet from M7 and Graham from SWD. I hate the way they’ve supposedly set up the regional playoff though. Top 4 from each district, cross bracketing, no reseeding after round 1. Let’s work harder not smarter 🙄.

I agree, the setup for the playoffs is a little whacky. I hope this is the one and only time this setup is used. Also, I do believe Graham and Central are playing the best football in D currently. Playing weak teams at the end of the season is not a good thing for Graham. I hope they stay sharp, and healthy for the playoffs. I wouldn't expect the varsity to play more than 2 quarters against Marion.

So if I am running through points for the bottom of 2C correctly. Chatham is essentially eliminated? They would need to win, and have Patrick County and Dan River lose. I would have them initially tying Patrick for the 8 if Prince Edward beats Randolph Henry but then Patrick gets 2 riders from beating Chatham. DR and Patrick the mission is pretty simple win. I would think Patrick holds serve and remains 8 if both teams win so DR needs a Magna Vista win. Correct me if I am wrong?

Sounds about right for this crazy season.
