What about a way too early top 10 for 4A?

1. Salem
2. Dinwiddie
3. Tuscarora
4. Monacan
5. Varina
6. King George
7. GW
8. Broad Run
9. Churchland
10. King’s Fork

HM: Louisa, Amherst County, Pulaski, Powhatan, Warwick, Sherando

Class 4 is looking like the best classification in VA from top to bottom. Each region has 3-5 teams that could win their region.

Tuscarora won the first game 21-20 and the second game 21-13 with BR kicking 2 FG's. Not to mention BR beat Tuscarora in the first game last yr. So yes I think they can beat Tuscarora
BR has a state champion in wrestling who is only a Soph. He beat Cameron Martindale for the heavyweight title. (Would love to see them matchup on the gridiron) Alex Birchmeier is 6'5" 275 and plays at G or T. He already has 15+D1 offers.

Thinking about this longer, I really think that it's Salem, Tusky, Broad Run, and Varina at the top (maybe Dinwiddie as well). The real question is who from the other 15 or so possible contenders are going to step up and challenge them.

I was actually just trying to have a little fun with any GW fans. Reidsville used to play them and Magna Vista.
I really think Salem will be good again. However, this is based on the talent in the freshman and sophomore classes. That may be difficult replacing Zavione Woods, the McDonald twins, three interior offensive linemen, and primary receiver Collins. But this is how it's always done in Salem, RELOAD.
I can still remember one of the most amazing things I've ever seen done by a high school football program. In 1998 Salem went 14-0 and won the State Championship with a senior laden dominant team. They graduated 17 starting positions. The next year in 1999 Salem went 14-0 and won another State Championship.

Salem is always good. I remember them being good when I lived there 20 years ago.

I am hopeful GW gets them back on their schedule. Reidsville is only a 15 mile track for GW and like Salem, Reidsville reloads every year. Reidsville has a strong 2024 class. They’ll more than likely win 5-6 straight state championships. Reidsville and Salem are what happens when you prioritize youth sports and consistently have community support.

I agree most with this list. 6-10 are interchangeable. Louisa could easily be there also in the top 10...Top 5, pretty firm

I don't know where Hampton would be in the top 10 list but they should be in the top 10.
