many teams these days have rec teams that eventually feed into middle school & jv/ varsity teams running the same offensive & defensive schemes as the older boys... I don't see the point in this. You have children learning a different offense every couple years if there are coaching changes at the varsity level while not really learning the basic mechanics and fundamentals of the sport. If a team switches coaches and changes its offense every couple of years a program will never be as good as a program with a dedicated coach and consistent style of play.

Even having a coach that sticks around isn't good enough if that coach decides he wants to run the veer for two years, pistol triple option for 1 and then switches to a spread running attack the 4th year in a students 4 year high school career. If teams want to be successful it needs to start at the AD/administration & they should pick a coach that fits a profile of what they want or what works. Not hire anyone with a winning record and assume they can win somewhere else.... Chip Kelly isn't coaching in super bowls is he?
