Lost 4a Jefferson Forest 53-20
Magna Vista has speed and talent so is execution the early problem.. Byrd was not real good last year but gave MV a game losing late 24-14 .

Lost 4a Salem 49-21
Salem scrimmaged Magna Vista and Brookville and most people said that Magna Vista was talented and fast but did not score at all . Salem played Byrd and they are bigger and better than last year and have some talent in sophomore Larry Basham. He runs too straight up but for a sophomore is strong and speedy . Byrd will try and out block you or can go to option or surprise with pass . This will be interesting game . Byrd has long drive and this could be an issue with legs . opinions ?

Magna Vista losing their receivers in Ramey, Penn, Clark, and Gravely has really hurt them. Jaq Hairston may be one of the best backs in 3a but Byrd has Basham who's pretty good himself. Another thing these teams have in common...Both just got beat by the 2 of the best teams in 4a. This one could go either way. I'll go MV by a TD 28-21.
