Coaches recently gathered to select the 2021-22 All-Cedar Run District Boys & Girls Basketball Teams.
Earning Player of the Year on the boys side was Patriot junior guard Nasir Coleman. Coleman has averaged 12.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.8 steals per game for a Pioneers team that is unbeaten at 22-0 overall entering the Region 6B Tournament.
Sherman Rivers led Patriot to its fifth consecutive Cedar Run District title. In fact, this marked the first ever unbeaten regular season for the Pioneers. He was rewarded by being named Cedar Run District Coach of the Year.
On the girls side, Hailey Kellogg from Osbourn Park was named Player of the Year. Sharing Coach of the Year honors were Osbourn Park's Chrissy Kelly
and Quynh Ngyuen of Osbourn.
