There have been a lot of unusual results so far this season, with some rather interesting results that we normally don't see from a lot of teams. This has certainly affected my methodology for calculating the spreads I use and they haven't been great to say the least. But we continue on, none the less.

Note: I have noticed that the VHSL Master Schedule is not always updated. Last week the Freedom (PW) vs Stone Bridge game was on Thursday but the master schedule still has it on Friday. This week the same thing has happened, with the Freedom (PW) vs Unity Reed game on Thursday instead of Friday. I only learned that by accident. If anyone notices any other changes after I post games for the week please let me know.

Please submit your picks by Thursday at 7:00 pm.

Freedom (PW) (-28) @ Unity Reed (Thursday)
Alexandria City (-30) @ Justice
Annandale @ Edison (-6)
North Stafford @ Lake Braddock (-21)
Robinson (-7) @ Chantilly
South County (-14) @ Westfield
Washington-Liberty @ West Springfield (-17)
Yorktown (-6) @ Oakton
Stone Bridge (-10) @ Colonial Forge
Highland Springs @ Martinsburg, WV (-3)

Who in the world is GIVING Highland Springs 3 points?! Wowzers!

Martinsburg is a powerhouse! I'd spot HS 10!
That’s funny, because most on the West Virginia board are hoping they don’t get embarrassed. Highland Springs already beat nationally ranked Julius Chambers this year. But….we’ll see Friday.
