Since I have done this for the past several years and at least a few people like to play, here we go again. Fair warning-the spreads are based on pretty much no information at this point in the season, so if you have any knowledge on a team or two, you might have an easy pick for that game. After 2-3 weeks the spreads should get a bit better (I hope). Good luck!

Picks are due by 7:00 pm on Friday.

Week #1
Stone Bridge (-10) at Madison
South Lakes at Robinson (-20)
Westfield (-6) at Unity Reed
Marshall (-13) at Washington-Liberty
Lake Braddock (-14) at Hayfield
West Springfield (-7) at Mount Vernon
Fairfax (-17) at Wakefield
Woodbridge at South County (-20)
Woodgrove (-6) at John Champe
Potomac at Battlefield (-21)

You're missing McLean at West Potomac. To me, that's a 14 point spread for West Po.
Madison (+10)
South Lakes (+20)
Westfield (-6)
Washington-Liberty (+13)
Lake Braddock (-14)
West Springfield (-7)
Fairfax (-17)
South County (-20)
Woodgrove (-6)
Battlefield (-21)

Additional games that could be added (IDK if you have a method as to which games, just noticed a few were missing):
Hylton @ Patriot
Edison @ Justice
Centreville @ Herndon
Oakton @ Lewis
Annandale @ Alexandria City

I only do 10 games per week, not all of them, and I pick them based on what I think will be interesting. I really try to avoid the obvious games where Team B stands no chance against Team A.

SPL311U, I can interpret your comments one of two ways. For clarification for the contest do you mean that the bold team will win but not cover if you say "under", e.g., the SB-MAD game, or are your picks correct against the stated spread but you are saying the spread itself is too low (under) or too high (over)?

falcettik -- Apologies for the short hand... the bold is the outright winner not vs. spread... (over/under) is my opinion on the spread itself being too high/low for the team I selected to win. So, yes, my selection is Stone Bridge will win, but not cover against James Madison.
