@Chief62 Your obvious discontent with the Barons is beyond ridiculous and borderline soft! The game between the Barons and Titans was a hardnose, blue collar, physical, and chippy game between 2 programs that got after it. It was clear from the opening kick the referees were going to let these 2 teams play until pushing and shoving commenced, then they started issuing personal fouls on both teams. The Barons needed this style of game, some adversity, and a team that can dish out physicality right back. I truly believe Trinity made Blue Ridge even tougher, and that would be a sight to see the next 2 weeks if the Barons can clean up somethings.
As far as the Titans walking off the field, that was classless.. No matter what the score was, all 65-70 young men, needed to learn that you can go at someone between the lines and get pushed to your limits and then turn it off and congratulate one or another...
Kuddos to 2-3 titans that took it upon themselves to shake the Barons hands... and the parent that went and got his young titan and made him shake hands...
Can't wait to see what the Barons can do at the beach...
BTW:: Good Luck to the Red Raiders... Hope they can host us if we are blessed to make it to the 19th....
