WSL 15-Under team The Family Detroit 70-39 in the tipoff game of the Boo Williams Nike Invitational. Four players scored in double-figures led by 15 points from Hampton Roads Academy guard Chris Tang.

Head coach Robbie Williams jumped on his team after a sluggish first half when they were outrebounded on the defensive end which kept Family Detroit in the game.

Maury freshman Jaleel Ferguson (6-foot-4) scored 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. His board work in the second half was one reason BWSL 15U started the second half on an 14-0 run to take a 44-18 lead with 12:40 remaining.

Maury was well represented with Ferguson, freshman Keon Buchanan, and point guard Michael Basnight. Buchanan scored 10 points while Basnight hit a three and scored six points. Middleburg Academy freshman Jimmy Paige converted eight free throws and finished with 10 points.

Oscar Smith guard Breon Britt scored eight points, with five rebounds and three steals.
