Episcopal spotted Collegiate a touchdown then took advantage of some timely turnovers in their 31-7 win. The Maroon defense pitched a shutout in the second half.

The Episcopal defense was relentless in their pursuit of quarterback Will Allocca. Senior Timmy Phillips, who has accepted a scholarship to Notre Dame, couldn't be stopped. He recovered a fumble at the 2-yard line on Collegiate's first drive of the game and he forced several quick throws including an intentional grounding. Daniel Hall Autrey returned an interception for a touchdown in the fourth quarter and the Maroon forced two turnovers in the redzone

Collegiate took a 7-0 lead after Episcopal was forced to punt from their own 1-yard line Evan Dean straddled the sideline for a 30-yard touchdown run with 4:59 to go in the 1st quarter. Episcopal senior Brian Chase answered the Cougars 1st quarter touchdown with an 87-yard kickoff return for a score to tie the game at seven.

Another turnover led to Episcopal's second touchdown. Mason Spence gathered in a tipped pass and returned it to the 8-yard line. Freshman Seth Agwunobi found Matt Renaud for a short 4-yard touchdown strike to give the Maroon the lead.

Quinn Lyerly stopped a Collegiate drive at the Maroon 20 with an interception at the goal line. Chase moved the ball out to midfield then raced 49 yards off a screen play from Agwunobi to give Episcopal a 21-7 lead with 5:13 to go in the 3rd quarter. Agwunobi was 10 of 12 passing for 121 yards and two touchdowns in relief.
