Girls Softball Semi finals

I am not there in person but my reliable source tells me that today's semi-final winners were the two regional champs, Auburn and Riverheads. Auburn blanked Region B runner-up Buffalo Gap 3-0 and Riverheads slaughter-ruled Region C runner-up Fort Chiswell 13-2. The two winners meet tomorrow for the state championship. They have met before at the state level but I believe this will be their first meeting in the title game. Of course they know each other very well in volleyball..........
