Huge loss for Grundy

Per the Bristol Herald Courier, point guard Hamilton Campbell has transferred to Carlisle School. Grundy will still return 4 starters, but Campbell is a huge loss because he was an excellent pass first point guard who could also shoot and played excellent defense.

Grundy will still be tough......Coach Looney is building a good program there.

Yes he is doing a fine job. They still have a good nucleus, led by his son Cade. With Campbell, they probably would have been my preseason #1, but I'm sure they will still be top 5. Auburn is another to watch out for as they return their entire starting lineup led by Millirons

I think they may lose Ford who is probably their best athlete and a really good defender but they may also have a few impact transfers coming in.

Eastside should be right up there too....and possibly Northside who returns basically everyone....although they didn’t look great at the summer league I saw them but they were playing larger schools

You must mean Northwood, not Northside. And yes as long as Eastside has Ethan Powers healthy, they'll definitely be in the hunt.

Cade Looney at 39 and Grayson Honaker at 56...vast majority of the kids are at private schools

Both of those kids can play at any level of high school in the state.
