Alrighty fans, my regional tournament selections for Friday was a mixed bag of good and bad, as the case generally is with prognostications.
I ended up going 23-7 (.766) with Region 2A victimizing me the most, finishing 3-3 there. Region 2C was also not that kind to me as I went just 3-2 in those matchups. Floyd County beating Chatham (and I received some friendly ribbing from Floyd HC Brian Harman) and James River ousting Fort Chiswell affected my record a bit.
Nonetheless, we’re back at it again for a Monday with ten regions in action, including three at the always Class 5 bracket that for years has been considered by me the toughest to emerge as State Champs, though this season may be the most wide-open it has been since realignment . . .
