The 2nd semi-final game was a lot closer with both teams having the lead in the final five minutes. The key may have been two huge 3-point baskets that gave Catholic a lead they never relinquished. The first was by senior Seth Burnham which gave Catholic a 43-41 lead and the second by Alex Pissis whose three gave the Crusaders a 47-43 lead with 2:28 to go.

Senior Josiah Rickards, who was held scorless the 1st three quarter, was 6 of 6 from the free throw line in the final few minutes. He also adding a three earlier in the quarter to finish with nine points. Pissis led the Crusaders with 15 points and Brayden Thorne was in double figures with 13 points including 6 for 6 from the foul line in the 4th quarter. Ashton Walker had a big game scoring 13 points while pulling down nine boards and dishing out three assists.

Peninsula Catholic while trailed by 10 at halftime made up the deficit by holding Catholic to only five points total in the 3rd quarter. The led 39-35 early in the 4th before giving the lead back to Catholic. E.J Joyner led the Knights with 15 points and Jaylen Wynn had 12 points and a game-high 13 rebounds.
