What a difference one year makes. VES had no chance. NCS with three starters out from NSA beat down had their way with a new quarterback and seemingly confused VES team. Five NCS players scored their first varsity touchdowns . NCS still very small. They need to get by BS-H next week and then they start the D-2 grind with CCS, Blue Ridge, STAB, Hargraves. Tough for little school that could but ninth and tenth graders showed up today.. Would rather have a state title from last year and wish VES well at NSA later in the season. they are really good.
