Oscar Smith Class of 2021 defensive end Jah'Ke Hilliard has decided he will play his College Football in-state. The 6-foot-1, 220-pound edge rusher from Chesapeake has given a pledge to play at Virginia Union University.
Hilliard, who maintains a 3.8 GPA in the classroom, finished with 90 total tackles and 10 sacks as a junior for a Tigers team that went 13-2 overall and reached the Class 6 State Finals. This past season as the Tigers won a second straight regional title and captured the program's third State Championship, he proved to be influential on a dominant defense that gave up just 4.9 points per game.
