Bishop O Connell matched their win total from 2013 with a 28-0 shutout win over Archbishop Carroll. Nick Shaw led the Knights with 147 yards with a touchdown on 17 carries. Benedictine remained #2 in the Virginiapreps.Com poll with a win over St Christophers. Jake Waldrop threw two touchdown passes for the Cadets who are ranked #1 in the VISAA. Woodberry Forest won their second game with a 42-7 win over Flint Hill. Duke Sherrell finished with 12 tackles and two tackles for loss. Hardin Lucas was credited with three hurries, three tackles for loss, and six tackles.

St Anne's-Belfield entered the game with a 40 point average margin of victory and they did nothing to endanger that number with a 61-6 win over Nansemond-Suffolk. The teams were ranked 2nd and 3rd in the latest VISAA D2 rankings but the Saints totally dominated all three phases of offense, defense, and special teams as they improved to 4-1 on the season. Episcopal spotted Collegiate a touchdown then took advantage of some timely turnovers in their 31-7 win. The Maroon defense pitched a shutout in the second half.

The Covenant School is off to a great start improving to 4-1. Quarterback Paul Hueme rushed 24 times for 270 yards and four touchdowns in their 49-40 win against Blue Ridge. Hueme was also 2 of 4 passing for 34 yards. Fork Union scored 42 points but that wasn't enough to beat Charlotte Latin. The Blue Devils drop to 1-4. Six different Eagles scored touchdowns as Fredericksburg Christian Academy defeated Massanutten Military 50-6. Quarterback Darius Carter was 4 of 4 passing for 77 yards and two touchdowns.

Trinity Episcopal quarterback Blake Bowen completed only five passes but three of them went for touchdowns including two to Travion Armstrong as Trinity Episcopal won going away 52-0. Fuqua trailed 27-14 in the 4th quarter but came back to win 28-27 to improve to 5-0. Running back Josh Davis had two rushing touchdowns for the Falcons. Isle of Wight junior Alec Edwards gained 131 yards with a touchdown on 19 carries.

Michael Frazier rushed for two touchdowns and Wilson Ford caught two touchdowns from Allan Parrott to help Norfolk Academy defeat Hampton Roads Academy 50-6. Atlantic Shores quarterback Ryan Chamberlain threw two touchdowns to Jordan Cannady and one each to Aaron Ferguson and Sam Stainback as the Seahawks moved to 6-0 with a blowout win over Virginia Episcopal.
