Sophomore Will Michael of Trinity Episcopal

On Friday night, in the game against Bishop Sullivan, Will Michael kicked six extra points (one of which was a 35 yard XP due to a penalty), and made a 35 yard field goal. He also had four touchbacks which held the Crusaders team back to the 20 on kickoffs.

Benedictine linebacker Ellis Brooks had eight solo tackles and nine assists for a total of 12.5 tackles in the Cadets win over Paul VI.

Bishop Ireton Cory Johnson


Junior corner back Corey Johnson had a huge red zone interception and 65 yard return to keep the Huskies off the scoreboard. The visitors decided to throw the ball away from Johnson for the rest of the day rather than challenging his ball skills. He added a solo tackle and several assists as well

Flint Hill running back Cameron Vaughn


Flint Hill running back Cameron Vaughn finished with 208 yards on 25 carries and two touchdowns in a loss to Bishop Ireton. Vaughn scored on touchdown runs of 25 and 86 yards.

Trinity Episcopal quarterback Blake Bowen


Trinity Episcopal quarterback Blake Bowen threw six touchdown passes to help Trinity Episcopal comeback from a two touchdown deficit. He completed 16 of 26 passes for 341 yards. Bowen's touchdown passes covered 41, 56, 8, 17, 43, and 25 yards.
