Sean Connor graduated from Portsmouth Christian School this past Spring after earning All-State honors at linebacker. After weighing all options, he decided to attend Concord University in West Virginia.

Connor was considering Old Dominion as a walk-on and he had interest from Bluefield, Nichols College, Shenandoah, Christopher Newport University, Chowan, Hampden-Sydney, and Concordia Ann Arbor. Ultimately, Concord University filled all the check boxes.

"I think its a good opportunity for me," Connor said. "Its a good school with a program that's on the rise. I really like the style of defense that they run."

Committing this late in summer means Connor may need to "catch up" in regards to the playbook and being ready for the season opener which is September 1st.

"I have enrolled and I'm going to seize every opportunity I get to become an impact player," Connor said. "I will have the opportunity to compete for a starting spot."
