Norfolk Christian 2026 Larry Giddens III (6-foot-3, 275) was the only defensive lineman to be recognized as a standout. He combines size, quickness and technique which led to him winning his head-to-head matchups against the offensive lineman. He lists West Virginia, James Madison and Campbell among his D1 offers.

Two freshmen from the 757 were singled out for their blocking and head-to-head lineman matchups.
Ocean Lakes 2027 Cole Defendi (6-foot-4, 270) made it difficult for defenders to reach the quarterback tackling pylon. Defendi did well against the smaller speed guys and the rushers who tried to use their strength. He was an All-Region selection in his first season playing High School football.

Poquoson freshman Carter Jones started on both offensive and defensive lines in his 1st year on varsity for the playoff bound Bull islanders. Jones brings intriguing size (6-foot-6, 280) for someone who still has three more varsity years. He posted good numbers for a lineman and had good reps which should improve with experience.

Freshman Ilan Ervin from Unity Reed also has a bright future

My top lineman at the US Army Bowl Combine was Donovan Johnson from Pine Forest High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Johnson (6-foot-3, 326) had one of the best times of all the lineman times and he ran a 4.9 laser at a recent camp

Huguenot High School had two of their starting defensive players who both made an impression. Defensive tackles Daron Thompson (6-foot-2, 285) was one of the few tackles who always seem to reach the quarterback. Thompson performed the drills with a passion and gave all out effort. Defensive end Jaydon Johnson-Lee (6-foot-2, 220) has all the tools you want from an edge pass rusher. He has ideal length and speed to threaten the offensive backfield. Johnson-Lee received an offer from Charlotte University.

Stafford edge Braeden Snavely won most of his battles and was identified by the camp coaches as one of the top pass rushers. I like his size (6-foot-3, 250) and the rising junior has a frame to add more size to play inside and outside.

Grandison Howard (6-foot-0, 270) from Grace Christian School in North Carolina was mentioned for his pass rush and hustle by the camp coaches.
