For the 2nd straight year, the VISAA D2 championship comes down to a matchup between Blue Ridge and Virginia Episcopal. The Barons won the State title last year and have defeated Virginia Episcopal in their only two meetings this year.


Blue Ridge will get a chance to defend their VISAA D2 State championship after defeating Carlisle for the 4th time this year by a final count of 57-41. Clemson commit Scott Spencer scored 15 points and Canisius commit Malik Johnson added 13 points for the Barons.

The Barons will face another familiar foe in Virginia Episcopal in a rematch of the D2 State championship game. The Bishops defeated St Anne's-Belfield 79-73. Pittsburgh commit Justice Kithcart scored 29 points while dropping seven assists and Kentucky recruit Satcha Killeya-Jones added 19 points, 14 rebounds and six rebounds to lead the Bishops.
