I have not yet attended any games due to a combination of March Madness and the weather, but I plan to start hitting some this upcoming week. Shenandoah District play has started and although I have not kept up with everyone, I know that Riverheads routed Stuarts Draft 12-0 this week in five innings and then lost a 1-0 heartbreaker to Wilson Friday night.
I have no more details to report but it would seem to indicate that those two will be contenders for district honors this season. I believe I am correct that the Gladiators have lost three games thus far by a combined total of four runs. All four were obviously pitchers' duels.
