Woodberry Forest 66 Bullis 65

Lindell Stone threw five touchdown passes on 25 of 38 passing for 290 yards to help Woodberry Forest defeat Bullis 66-65 in overtime.

The game was tied 31-31 at halftime and 59-59 at the end of regulation.

Stone connected with receiver Terrell Jana for 7 receptions for 132 yards and two scores while Zach Roderick caught 9 passes for 72 yards and two touchdowns. Senior Evans Riviere added 155 yards and threw touchdowns on the ground. Ryan Grady led the Tigers defense with 15 tackles and Logi Portugal had 10 tackles. Michael Davenport had an interception and three pass defensed.

Bullis was led by University of Maryland recruit Dwayne Haskins who finished the evening 29 of 44 passing for 442 yards and seven touchdowns.

Their defense has given up a lot of points against Pinecrest and Bullis but I doubt the Tigers will see competition like that again until they face Benedictine or Episcopal.
 
Or score zero for the year...I like that Woodberry is playing a tough schedule. Get to see a lot of talent and pretty good football.
