My question is why did he leave Freedom when he had a successful program. Did Freedom realize that he recruited there also and was scared they were going to be suspended. Inquiring minds want to know.

I am not sure Overton is the only Hayfield Secondary School employee or FCPS employee that should incur discipline. The kids are being punished and the adults who aided, abetted and attempted to cover up the situation should be disciplined as well. I am not sure how the FCPS Superintendent has any credibility to remain in her job given the her initial "independent" investigation and ruling contrasted with the VHSL findings. The stark differences in the two reviews amount to much more than a reasonable difference of opinion and FCPS Board members should be asking themselves if she responds this way to athletics matters do they trust her to honestly respond to more serious matters that may arise within school administration and academics?

Well, 1st, it's NOT MY website... it's a free hosting site, and in the 20 or so years I've been doing this, no one has every said a peep about links to it.
2nd, I'm not doing that for six diff. regions on 2 diff. msg boards. It's there, and you can go look at it or not.
3rd, Snippy? All I did was reply, on point, to someone else's snippiness.
4th, it's "user friendliness"? That wasn't questioned.
Part of why I don't copy it is b/c it's designed to be printed out... I'm not gonna waste time changing things around so it "looks nice" somewhere else.

Here is my keys for each team to win this game .
For Handley -
No turnovers - control the clock.
Sherando run defense has been stingy- if Handley can run the ball to set up play action pass they will blow Sherando out with big pass plays.
Handley is not a deep team , if they lose anyone to injury’s , especially defense they will be a different defensive team.
Handley has speed in the backfield at QB and RB, if they get to edge running the ball, Sherando will not be able to stop them. Sherando will be tough to run with a three yards and a cloud of dust type,of offense . They have to run out side the tackle box.
Big pass plays , Sherando pass,defense is suspect . kettle run exposed them on that.

For Sherando-
Get on top early and do not be sluggish at the start of the game.
If Sherando is running the ball on you , with read option QB plays and you can’t stop Carlson , he will gash you for 150 yards.
For Sherando QB who has a very good arm, he needs to be accurate when he throws to receivers . Some times I feel like he is more accurate on deep throws than the easier 5 to 15 yard throws .
Sherando defense has to contain and stop the big plays from Handley
Sherando needs to wear down those big Defensive And Offensive linemen . I watched the Handley Millbrook game and even though Handley had the game well in control, I saw what I thought was tired players on both sides of the line. Sherando who is smaller but not small on the line need to wear out Handley linemen .
I have thought a lot about how this game will go this coming Saturday, it really is a toss up for me .
It could go either way, which team is going to show up and play to there best potential?
The homer score I’m going with is Sherando 35 Handley 34. High scoring and somebody misses extra PAT.
Both teams are very good teams , and will be tough out in Region D playoffs.

Well, I guess one WOULD have to understand how the ratings are done to start with, first.
Had no idea Win95 had that function.

I used to fill in the master w/scores every week, do ratings for the SW starting on week 6, and have the cheat sheets ready after week 9... but no more.
Now I only track the OoS games weekly and just do W/L on the master using the week 7 ratings release. I start working on the cheat sheets during week 9 and put them out after week 10. A WHOLE lot less stress and burn-out.

I think I've been the only one to ever do cheat sheets... at least publicly. I know other media guys run the numbers to come up with the scenarios, but none have ever been put out for all.
It really isn't all that hard, but it does take some time to set one up the first time.
