Whatever floats their boat..... Guaranteed title, I guess.Only playing 5-6 2A games at most will not hurt you when you been playing basically national level comp all season

Only playing 5-6 2A games at most will not hurt you when you been playing basically national level comp all seasonPlaying in the 2A State Tourney is of no benefit to JM. It may actually hurt their chances at the national level. There is also the possibility of a kid getting hurt or ejected. I say, if they want to be "elite", then they should stop playing in the 2A division and step it up. They can petition to play up, they just don't want to.
It’s not just a 2A school. It’s a winning program(no tuition costs), with a coach that has access to most, if not all P4 coaches in America. As we see in college with NIL and transfer portal, the days of playing with kids from kindergarten are over. Y’all gotta get over it. Beating a dead horse is an understatement. David slayed Goliath-take your best shot come March.Something has to give. There’s no reason for 4* recruits from Alabama transferring to a 2A VA school.
I'm not too surprised. Mathews only lost to Northumberland by 3 and Bruton by 9. Plus, Middlesex got beat by 38 by Altavista last week and looks like they may not have recovered from that yetWhat???
They lost to Fort Chiswell. I’d have to agree they’ll remain outside the Top 10. That’s not a knock on FC but pointing out this Radford team is not the same level as the ones in the past.Floyd should be in the top 5 or 6. Saw them in person. They can move the ball and shoot the three. Underwood is back and looks healthy. Enough Ball Handlers to go around. They will be around towards the end.
Radford has an okay team. They do not have anyone that scares you. They may win some games they shouldn't, but they should remain outside the top 10 all year. They lost a game against Salem (Spartans) last night with odd inbounding plays and also running the clock down before generating offense. Very odd last two minutes of the game.
Did a parent take a job in Richmond? Richmond isn't a huge city, but also isn't a small town. There are quite a few economic opportunities in the RVA area. Not saying this is factual by any means. But people do move to and from RVA all the time. If I was moving to a new area I would definitely research the schools and programs and depending on sport(s) my kid(s) play would dictate what school I would want my kids at. So I would make sure I was in the district I need to be in.Something has to give. There’s no reason for 4* recruits from Alabama transferring to a 2A VA school.
Something has to give. There’s no reason for 4* recruits from Alabama transferring to a 2A VA school.I would love to see them back in Class 3. JM and Northside had some ready good games.
I would love to see them back in Class 3. JM and Northside had some really good games.Just opt out of the state tourney and play against teams that can play with them. All this recruiting stuff is sickening.
so they will be in the same Districts and will have probably the same or similar schedules. The difference will be how their opponents are calculated. To the math geeks, will there be much of a points difference next year?25 months ago is two high school graduation classes. Don’t really mean much when you have a really good feeder program and retain your talent. Richmond City Football is pretty good right now. Tee Jay and Armstrong both lose their best players (Cherry-Tee Jay and Chavis-Armstrong) but both teams were young and have athletes everywhere, nice lines and sound coaching. Having 3-4 athletes is sometimes the difference in the lower classifications.
