Altavista’s Christian Garvin scored an and-1 layup inside 30 seconds to give the Colonels the win in a back and forth Region 1B semifinal. Altavista earns a berth into the Class 1 state tournament.
Same thing I’ve been saying about GW ended up costing them. Too much ISO ball. Works against the Piedmont competition, doesn’t work against good teams. Congrats to EC Glass! I’m hoping the Toppers can make it back to Richmond.
