I still haven’t heard about any meeting. I think it was just a WISH/RUMOR... If the program declines I wouldn’t blame coaching as much as I would parenting. Just saying.- Daddy_rabbit

Gw coach WILL be there for at least one more year. There is no reason to get rid of him. He’s put up respectable numbers and the AD likes him. I don’t expect much from them this season tho. I think riverheads, galax, ph, Essex, Sussex etc will all be back in the mix again come November- Daddy_rabbit

Flag football???
There has been talk around wytheville about the youth league doing away with tackle football starting next year. Tackling will no longer take place until middle school. This makes no sense to me. I think H.S. is probably one of the best coaches and teachers that wythe co has had in quite some time. I still see him out there with the youth league helping the young players and even the parents that are coaching. I agree with you. Establish the run, then pass. Sounds like something that might get you about 4 titles in a row. Riverheads would win 2A this year
I guess you didn’t watch the first game today. Wouldn’t exactly call galax weak. That was probably one of the best games I’ve seen in a long time.
