I need football talk
May I respectfully disagree? That was a team effort. ALL of that effort revolved around the OL and DL for Phoebus. That last second play wouldn't have been possible without the line play that had occurred during the game. Even the QB and WR gave props in post game interviews.....much respect to...- gwb16

The college education, honestly, should be the #1 goal. If anything beyond that develops, great...but get that education first to secure his future after football. I think he's taking the right path...Something tells me he's going to be a highly successful adult in LIFE...with or without football.- gwb16

Phoebus Phantoms 10 Times A Champion By The Numbers
I was at work that day.... hitting the refresh button as often as I could. I wanted to be there for that game but my job had other plans for me that day. You were sick for 4 quarters. Those Generals are still sick about that loss....BUT that game made them HUNGRIER than ever.- gwb16

My "opinion".... Salem's defense had played one hell of a game against a great offense all day. Why not stay with the game plan that had worked for you all day? I was saying the same thing, if the defender tips the ball and it falls incomplete, Coach Holter is a genius for sticking with his game...- gwb16

AD apparently isn't willing to give the coaching staff an opportunity to build anything either. It's my understanding the kids really enjoyed playing for him....from what I've been told. State Semifinals: 13-0 King George @ 13-0 Phoebus
The D line for Phoebus disrupts the LOS so effectively that it allows their LBs to make big plays. They alley and shoot the gaps better than most high school teams that you're ever going to see. They're extremely aggressive, which has allowed a few big runs this year but not many points have...- gwb16

That's a good analysis. The only way you beat Poquoson is by playing disciplined football. And DO NOT allow them to get into your head because they're going to be jawing from the opening kickoff! 😂😂😂 I can't tell you how many PF penalities I've seen their opponents get over the YEARS of watching...- gwb16

You're sadly, grossly underestimating that #4 seed. King William played the toughest 2A schedule in the state this year. That was the Regional Championship game...ask anyone on the Poquoson coaching staff.... they'll agree. But please.... continue to underestimate those Bull Islanders...- gwb16

Poquoson LIVES for the underdog title. Those kids feed off of it. I've watched it for years. They're never the biggest team but they are coached EXTREMELY well and play fundamental football as good as any team in the state. They're battle tested. They're never intimidated. Interesting...- gwb16

Does anyone know what he actually POSTED? I've seen some social media posts in the 757 from coaches that are making people shake their heads in disbelief and NOTHING is being said about it down here....I heard that all he did was post the score and RPS viewed it as a form of bullying...is that...- gwb16
