1A Championship game

I was just estimating but it makes no difference anyway because nothing will be changing. Besides according to an article I just read, we may have something else to discuss anyway. It seems that the VHSL is discussing the idea of adding instant replay to the state championship games. It is just in the talking stages but it sounds as if it could happen as early as the 2020 state finals.

If that happens it will take awhile to play the game. The Refs. Need help from what most say on this board .

Supersite sucks in the spring because kids have to miss school in order to attend and support their friends.
If you supersize T&F you would spread out all of the events and classes over the course of TH/FR/SA. Thus allowing students to come and support their friends without missing school. They might not make the entire competition, but they can make a significant portion.

Yeah works better for some sports than others, agreed.

It could always be worse folks. I remember not too long ago, in West By God, where they have all their title games in Wheeling, the AA Championship was James Monroe and Bluefield. JM is a border rival of Narrows and probably less than 10 miles from the state line as the crow flies. Bluefield's parking lot for their stadium is in VA. They both had to travel to a city 5+ hours away where the quickest route to get there involves close to 2 hours driving in Ohio. Just so they could have the title games at a stadium right next to a casino/dog track on an island that seems to flood once a year anymore. At least the strip club directly behinds the visitors stands has interesting specials, if you're into that sort of thing.
