Stuarts Draft fell to George Mason Friday night in the Group 2A East boys regional basketball tournament, 96-73.
In the first quarter, the Cougars fell behind 22-15, before scoring nine points in the second period. By halftime, George Mason was head 42-24.
The Cougars cut the lead to 12 points in the second half, but that was as close as they could come.
For Stuarts Draft, CJ Dameron led the way with 16 points while Jonathon White bucketed 15.
