Re: a little something like this...

Kettle Run should be on that list somewhere.

Re: a little something like this...

my curiosity how did you come up with those odds

Handicapping is just a little hobby of mine...

That's what it would look like in Vegas, Delaware, or soon to be New Jersey...

Re: They are...

I have other problems with your list as well, but I don't want hundreds of angry people saying I am disrespecting their team by saying they should be ranked differently.

Re: They are...

3a is pretty competitive this year.. james Monroe you can never count out, Lafayette I dont know much about, but they look mirror from last year scores rolled through the regular season, and then lost in the playoffs... northside looks like they are improving every week they could make some noise.. Magna vista has some work to do on special teams and a little on defense, but I think their offense can score enough points to make up for their short comings. I think it will be one of these 4, but being bias I hope MV will finally bring home a state championship..

What problems are they?

They are based off of a variety of factors... record, strength of schedule, prior title runs... just to name a few...
I went to Brookville, but they are a big underdog to win it, whereas James Monroe is and should be the favorite. I'm not going to put a team up or down just because I like them or dont... These are clearly bettors odds, meant to draw action on each and every possibility.Once again, I said I like Magna Vista, they have a good value. Are they the favorite? No... I think the consensus would agree...

Re: What problems are they?

Ok. I'll give you a little glimpse. What do you consider strength of schedule? Is it playing strong teams? Or is it playing crap teams from a division that just happens to be 4A or 5A, so it gets lots of ratings points. I would also suggest that prior title runs is being weighted too much, and inconsistently.

Don't get me wrong

Nobody knows for sure, and I appreciate you taking a shot at this. It gives a starting point for debate.

If they can keep their head level, it's kind of hard to pick against Magna Vista. 5 legit receivers, a good running game, a very big and physical quarterback who can improvise, and they can tackle well. They're not unbeatable, it's just going to be hard to beat them.
