This is how I'd have the scoreboards looking at about 9:00pm tonight. More opinions welcome.

Hidden Valley 20 Waynesboro 7
Abingdon 24 Broadway 20

Heritage 27 Christiansburg 21
Lord Botetourt 27 Western Albemarle 24

Northside 34 Blacksburg 17
Liberty 22 Brookville 21

Magna Vista 27 Cave Spring 10
Monticello 41 Tunstall 19

I expect all the games to be close at halftime, a few teams will pull away and others will finish the job late in the 4th.

Can't argue with anything you posted.

Hidden Valley may have lost a step without Dermott but I don't think Waynesboro can take advantage of it. Pick HV
Abingdon and Broadway are the two teams most people know the least about. Pick Abingdon

Heritage is suspect on D but CBurg is suspect on O. Pick Heritage
LB may be too physical for Western Albemarle. Pick LB

Blacksburg can play D but shouldn't have enough to knock off Northside. Pick NS
Liberty and Brookville should be the closest matchup of the week. Pick Liberty

Magna Vista has more athletes but Cave will be the 2nd best team they have seen this year so it could be closer than some think. Pick MV
Monticello should handle Tunstall easily. Pick Monticello

I see Hidden Valley taking care of Waynesboro pretty easy although I've heard Waynesboro has made huge strides in the right direction towards the end of the season. With Atkins leading the Hidden Valley defense, I just don't see him playing his last high school game this week. Hidden Valley 28 Waynesboro 7

Abingdon and Broadway seems to be my first upset alert. I think Abingdon is heading in the right direction but Broadway is going to beat Abingdon. Broadway 21 Abingdon 14

Heritage will dominate Christiansburg by the start of 3rd quarter. Heritage's running game is just so strong with Hickson leading the way. Coach Bradley is an amazing coach and I'm sure he has his team mentally prepared this week to take of Christiansbug. Heritage 35 Christiansburg 14

If LB can control the line of scrimmage and i'm sure they will, I think they will beat Western Albermale with a low scoring game. If Western Albermale keeps the pace of the game going with a no huddle offense, I think they will win a high scoring game.
LB 27 Western Albermale 20

Northside is the defending 3A state champions for a reason. Losing Hardister indeed may be a big blow to someone's high school fantasy team but replacing Hardister with Jackson is far from a drop off. Northside is disciplined, well coached, and always have a Plan B. I was really rooting for Blacksburg on this fairytale ending for their coach but how can you go against the defending state champs? Northside 35 Blacksburg 14

Liberty-Brookville game is simply a toss up. Brookville has Liberty's number for some reason and it can be a mental block that Liberty can't seem to beat them. Brookville was heading down the drain losing to Amherst and Liberty is heading up with playing Jefferson Forest close as they did. If Liberty can get over the mental part of playing Brookville, I think they beat Brookville by 2 or more scores. If Brookville's defense shut down the amazing Triple I of Liberty, I see the winning yet again. This game will total at 50 pointsin my opinion. I want to say Liberty wins, but I can't go against History.
Brookville 35 Liberty 28

Magna Vista vs Cave Spring game will be a shock to ALOT of people. With MV's starting QB out for the game, alot of people are thinking it's going to be much closer. In my opinion, the shock is going to be how well MV plays without the starting QB and how many total yards the offense will have. Just like NorthSide, MV is well coached and Im sure with Redd as athletic as he is, and with Hairston at tail back, Cave Spring simply won't be able to stop them. It will not surprise me if its a 30 point margin of Victory. MV 42 Cave Spring 14

This is the upset game of the week right here!! In my opinion, I believe Tunstall will go to Monticello and leave with a Big Victory if Tunstall can have any offense at all. Tunstall has speed and a very stout defense with Caleb Ashworth leading. Win or lose, ASHWORTH will not be stopped or contained all game. Monticello has a very good back and has one of the best coaches in the state but Tunstall has defense and if they don't have a mental breakdown, I think will play Magna Vista in the second round. Tunstall 21 Monticello 14
