Nansemond River’s Michael Blanchard selected 5A Player of the Year and Nansemond River’s Mark Stuffel named 5A Coach of the Year
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA —The Virginia High School League 2016 Group 5A All-State baseball team has been selected. Nansemond River senior pitcher Michael Blanchard and Head Coach Mark Stuffel were selected the 5A Player of the Year and 5A Coach of the Year after leading the Warriors to the school’s first-ever state baseball title.
